In 1901 — our great-great-grandfather, John, a skilled tradesman and rancher, emigrated from Holland seeking the promise of a brighter future in the vast American West. Traveling by steamship and by train, he planted roots south of the Yellowstone River on Blue Creek Ranch.
In 1905 — on the other side of the Big Sky, the Droge family patriarch, Jacob, also a Dutch immigrant, homesteaded the rugged hills of Montana’s Gallatin Valley. Despite skepticism about the land's fertility, he blazed a trail that would yield abundant harvests for decades to come—a testament to unwavering grit and fortitude.
2020 — Over a century after their courageous settlements, our two families' paths crossed, uniting passions, values, and a shared American dream.
